Despite the pandemic, public events in all five cities met expectations and resulted in significant interest from various groups. The project WorkLife4U was presented in a hybrid form, live with streming broadcast, in all cities except Pula and thus gathered a total of over 1100 visitors.

Public events brought together representatives of the Government, regional and local governments, NGOs, academic experts, representatives of various companies and the media. Some of the guest participants at the events were former State Secretary Majda Burić from the Ministry of Labor, Pensions, Family and Social Policy, State Secretary Ivan Vidiš from the Ministry of Labor, Pensions, Family and Social Policy, Vice President of the European Commission for Democracy and Demography Dubravka Šuica , President of the Istria County Assembly Sandra Ćakić Kuhar, President of the Osijek-Baranja County Assembly Dragan Vulin, Deputy Prefect of the Split-Dalmatia County Ante Šošić and many others.

As part of the project, the director of Spona Code, which leads companies through a change in organizational culture to develop into work environments that stand out as friends of family and women, Diana K. Deskovic, presented the possibilities of European-funded involvement in MAMFORCE SOCIETY through audit – strategic tool for creating an organizational culture that enables the reconciliation of professional and family obligations and equal career development opportunities for men and women.

Reduced sick leave rates, higher employee satisfaction, increased productivity and a larger number of women in management positions – are the results of the changes we have made in 40 organizations through audits. These are clear positive developments, absolutely measurable, which confirm that we are thinking in the right direction. Thanks to the project Re-create life and work for women and men, 20 companies have the opportunity to improve their policies and practices, and consequently, which is crucial, productivity, all with EU co-financing.”– said Kobas Dešković.

As part of the public presentations of the project, the play “Work and Life for Women and Men” by the Association of Words / Real / Performances was shown, in an adapted video format due to the current pandemic.

At the end of each event, a public invitation was sent to companies to join the MAMFORCE SOCIETY, about which you can find more information on the website www.mamforce.hr, where you can find all the information about the project.
