Teachers and other educational professionals (psychologists, pedagogues, educational rehabilitators, speech therapists) have a significant influence on the way children develop ideas about the meaning of gender and can be the ones who influence the choice of future occupations related to gender, but can also be and are the factors of social change.
To reduce gender stereotypes it is necessary to include various “players” in the educational process in the promotion of gender equality.
The main goal of the project is to CHANGE ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIOR about gender equality and gender stereotypes in the classroom. Upon completion of educations and training, which will be part of the project, and with the continuous support of a digital platform, teachers will develop competencies that they will be able to permanently apply in their work in a way to continuously increase gender equality and reduce gender stereotypes in classrooms, especially during subjects from the STEM area.
Through the transfer of knowledge and experience to their colleagues, teachers, and other professionals, who have undergone training within the project, to acquire competencies that will contribute to the continuous strengthening of gender equality in education in all areas of the curriculum. They will thus become influential torch-bearers of a lasting change in society.
