We participated in the eighth edition of “Women in Tech Meetup Split”, a monthly gathering for girls or women who already work or would like to get employed in the IT sector. Our CEO Dianna K. Desekovich spoke about the development of policies and procedures in HR, but also about the importance of taking special care of women in the IT sector and why employed mothers and fathers need and deserve the support of their employers, for the benefit of both parties.
There is often a prejudice about women being less competent. Likewise, dominant, assertive and competitive women are considered aggressive, unfeminine and difficult, so they are hampered by these ‘undesirable’ characteristics.
