MAMFORCE Partnership

The annual action plan, developed during MAMFORCE certification, was focused primarily on the elimination of discrimination based on gender or parental status, on the development of policies designed to improve workplace equality, and on the creation of the climate of support for employees in balancing their business-related and private obligations.

By developing a good practice example of the Bias-Free Place, the employees were trained on invisible bias regarding gender and parenthood in the workplace. At the same time, supervisors were trained on equality and equity in the workplace, to develop their inclusive leadership competences. It led to the extraordinary score of 98%, given by the employees.

The survey on employee preferences, carried out in collaboration with the MAMFORCE Team, has resulted in the introduction of additional flexible working arrangements, paid leave for child’s first day of school or kindergarten, more flexible use of vacation. The role of fathers in childcare and their taking the paternal leave was promoted, and Open Days for employees’ children have been instituted. All of this produced a significant increase in employee engagement and the perception of the support to work-life balance, which now stands at 95%. This helped position the Entrepreneurial Centre as an employer of choice, as well as a family-friendly and equal opportunity employer.
