Flexible working hours are still just a privilege, not a standard

“In Croatia, there are companies that enable partial work from home and other forms of flexibility, although this is more an exception than the rule. Flexible working hours mean a wide range of possibilities, such as the already mentioned work from home, sliding working hours, a concise working week that means a full hour of 40 working hours per week, but distributed differently – for example, within four days to make the fifth day free or partially free. Also, flexibility means part-time work due to private needs, noting that part-time work does not have to mean only half of working time, which is the most common practice in our companies, but half an hour or an hour less per day, or work in a certain percentage of working time.
